2012 International Eastern Wine Competition - Now Accepting Entries

Best of the East and Midwest

We’ve redrawn the map for the 36th annual International Eastern Wine Competition, making it truly an Eastern-Midwestern affair.

The explosion of wineries and vineyards east of the Rockies has been nothing short of phenomenal in the last decade, and the 2012 IEWC shines the spotlight on these producers and growers with a competition just for them.

Produced by Vineyard & Winery Management, IEWC is one of the largest and longest-running wine competitions in North America, judged by knowledgeable wine professionals and media from the East, Midwest and beyond. IEWC includes the Riesling Championship, which honors the best Riesling in the competition.
